Mild Impact
Based on your responses, you reported relatively few of the symptoms commonly experienced following sexual or relational betrayal.
That’s encouraging, but it does not mean that what happened wasn’t significant, painful, or worthy of attention.
People respond to betrayal differently. Your results simply suggest that, at this time, the emotional, physical, and relational effects of the betrayal may not be significantly disrupting your everyday life.
Your Experience Still Matters
A score cannot measure the significance of what happened to you.
You may still have questions about trust, honesty, boundaries, forgiveness, or the future of your relationship. You may also notice that certain emotions or concerns emerge over time as you process what you’ve experienced.
Continue paying attention to what your mind, body, and emotions are telling you rather than feeling pressure to “move on” simply because you’re functioning well.
Continue Building Safety and Clarity
As you move forward, focus on the things that contribute to genuine relational safety:
-
Truth — Is there honesty and transparency in your relationship?
-
Consistency — Do your partner’s actions consistently match their words?
-
Boundaries — Are you able to identify and communicate what you need to feel safe?
-
Support — Do you have trustworthy people with whom you can process your experience?
-
Self-trust — Are you learning to listen to your own observations, emotions, and concerns?
Healing doesn’t require you to rush toward a particular outcome for your relationship. Give yourself permission to move thoughtfully and make decisions from a place of clarity rather than pressure.
If You Still Have Concerns
An assessment can only tell part of the story.
If you took this assessment because something still doesn’t feel right, you’re struggling to know whether you’re being told the whole truth, or you’re unsure how to move forward in your relationship, those concerns are worth paying attention to regardless of your score.
You don’t need a high assessment score to ask questions, establish healthy boundaries, or seek support.
