Why Try a Recovery Coach?

Updated: Sep 22, 2023

Why did you come to visit this site searching for answers? Here's a couple options.

  1. You know you have a sexual addiction problem and you're curious if there is actually help out there. Maybe you struggle with pornography, chat-rooms and masturbation; maybe it's strip clubs and prostitutes; maybe it's meet ups and one-night stands. Whatever the sexual behavior is doesn't matter you want to stop. You want to stop because you know eventually it's going to ruin your life. You want to stop because you know eventually your spouse will discover the truth. You want to stop because you don't like the feeling of not being in control of your life. You're looking for hope. Is it possible?

  2. Your sexual activity has brought you to the breaking point. You've had bad days, but today it feels like you've hit true rock bottom. Maybe your wife kicked you out of the house. Maybe she moved out and took the kids with her. Maybe your employer finally found out what you've been spending time doing with a closed door in the office and let you go. Your sexual activity is out of control and you don't know where to turn. You don't even believe that there is hope. You've tried so many times to stop, but you can't. You're looking for hope. Is it possible?

Likely, in your past attempts to "reform" you've tried to do it alone and you tried to do it without guidance.

If you're a couch potato and decided one day to walk out the front door and run a marathon how do you think you would do? Horrible, right? You'd be a miserable failure! Without proper training and discipline over time, running a marathon seems like an impossible task, but we know it's possible because millions of people have put in the work and completed all 26.2 miles. It's pretty self-evident you need to train for something so difficult, right?

It's the same with your sexual addiction. You want freedom! Everyone who struggles with their sexual behavior wants that. In the same way you can't just decide to run a marathon without training you can't just up and decide to quit sexual addiction without proper training.

It's completely possible to live free from sexual addiction, but you're going to have to train just as hard as you would if you were trying to go from couch potato to marathon running champion.

You need a coach.

Here's what a coach can do for you:

  • A coach is an expert in the game.

  • A coach will teach you with the "game plan" or "training manual."

  • A coach knows how to help you reach your goals.

  • A coach has experience coaching other people and winning!

  • A coach is in your corner.

  • A coach is an encourager.

  • A coach will call you out when you're not playing the game the right way.

  • A coach will share their experience with you.

  • A coach will inspire you to be the best you can.

A coach can do a lot of things to help you succeed in your path to freedom from sexual addiction, but there is one thing they can't do...do the work for you.

The coach isn't on the field, they prepare you to do the work.

If you're willing to put in the work I can show you the way.

You can do this!
